The N.A Director will be part of CELINE Media team, and as such will echo the Global Strategy on the local markets. N.A being a strategic axis of development for the House, the position is newly crafted and will require to settle local process and relationships (position previously handled from Paris).
HQ Media team elaborates the global communication ambitions, media annual brief and individual campaigns guidelines.
This role will elaborate the regional brief for each local agency (USA and Canada). They will also refine and re-challenge agencies’ recommendation, and finally share its own local strategies with HQ in order to get all green lights.
The expectation is to lead the local agencies, bring proactivity in terms excellency, innovation, and improvements.
The Director will be the local lead of CELINE strategy. This implies to have a strong background in media, and to be eager to search for new platforms (all media), captivating, alternatives, innovative or differentiating. Hence, meet and collaborate closely with local media partners will be important especially in outdoor.
Traveling to cities in US and Canada will be requested to manage the outdoor markets dynamically.
Sharing with HQ and proposing new or better media strategy/buying will be key to success.
Being based in a leading tech country, a positive relationship with digital partners will also be key to improve the strategic or tactical global strategy.
Finally, the competitive scanning and review will be part of the scope, to identify the best or worst cases.
In close relationship with local agencies, ensure each campaign is planned and implemented as per the agreed strategy, as per approved budget and guidelines.
Make sure that all operational details are accurately set up.
In this role, the director will follow up on budgets, from planning to invoicing. They will coordinate Top management review presentations for N.A, under the lead of Media HQ. They will also supervise all invoicing process and validation.
Responsible for campaign quality of implementation (immediate checking) & performance achievement (on all media)
Ensure to develop a continuous and informational post analysis of each campaign to improve media efficiency and budget allocation, based on agreed critical metrics.
All assets are developed internally in Paris Studio. This role will accurately brief the team and negotiate all additional deadlines necessary.
